Ran mine today after waiting for shorty packs to arrive.
After initial run I added the silver front sway bar to calm down the steering a bit. Have to change the rear diff fluid to 2000wt. Initially running 10000 front/ 30000 center/ 5000 rear.
I basically used the same set up as Ty medium traction setup and went from there.
Amazing car. I am used to 1/8 buggies and this feels very similar.
Only problem I had was motor temp. Running a 6 turn reedy with 20 tooth pinion.
I am hoping soon that there will be larger spur gears available so I can fine tune to keep motor temp down. I can fit a 19 tooth pinion on the buggy, but that is it. 18 tooth is close but the gear mesh is too loose.
So if anyone knows if and when a larger spur gear is coming, let me know.
