Its not really upgraded, just changed how the parts look, not how they function.

Anyhow back on topic. A big part of having so few stuff made in USA is the fact that it can be made here at an economical price, but the overseas will just undercut that price as well. So much stuff is designed here in the US, but made overseas. AE, Losi, and Traxxas are all American designed, but the individual parts are made in Taiwan or similar country.
