So I just got my SMC 7200 2S batteries...I went to solder on my usual "banana" connectors, but promptly found that the wire insulation is too big to fit through the plastic "polarity protector" case thing. I tried to force it by a few different methods...nothing seems to work.

These are the type of connector: http://www.amazon.com/Redcat-Racing-.../dp/B00D25G2HA

It goes like this--to attach these, you slide the plastic cover over the wire, solder the bullet, and pop the plastic cover over the bullet. But if you can't slide the plastic over the wire in the first place, there is no way to get it on the bullets after soldering the bullets on.

So what do I do? Do I just switch everything over to Deans' connectors? I don't want to use bare bullets, plus I can't...I didn't order that version of the battery. I want to keep all my batteries "universal" so I can charge them all the same and put them in any vehicle, but the only batteries that are giving me this problem are the 6 new SMC batteries.

Is there a connector other than deans that would be good? This will be used on everything, SC, 1/8 truggy...

What would y'all do, other than start with the batteries with 4mm bullet sockets built in? (Them just look like a problem waiting to happen to me, but to each his own?
