I tried it personally on my old Barracuda R2 and will never do it again. Honestly I just could not get the car to work with those on, but when I took them off it would instantly get good.
So in my view, there are only cons, which is running those links makes the car suck.
BTW, this was on asphault, dont know if its any different for carpet, but I do know I will never try it again.
