That's the problem with low volume builds. The costs outweigh the benefit.
If you want to get slick, you can do anodizing at home at a low cost. I've been contemplating this for my stuff as the added cost of doing this in California is getting increasingly difficult and the volume is not high enough to move things to Asia. Besides I like having full control over what I make.
