So you're saying I need to buy a new transponder? I've got hundreds of $$ tied up in AMB and MRT transponders already. This is adding up to probably be the most expensive race I've ever attended.

I'm saying you shouldn't have invested in cloned transponders. If you have a AMB transponder, even the older one's they all work with RC4. It's a shame that MRT peddles cloned hardware to unsuspecting consumers.
Everyone should also be aware that AMB's RC 4 firmware can be updated, which at some point in time will circumvent newer MRT clones that may work.
