IMO 4wd SCT's need an eighth scale ESC. Tekin RX8 or Viper VTX8 (
http://viper-rc.com/vtx8.php) both fit the bill. I know the Viper is 'weather proof', don't know about the Tekin. Alot of people swear by the Hobbywing stuff, but I'd be cautious about them. If you wanted a place to try and save some $$, get a Hobbywing (or other import brand) motor.
