Actually the trick is getting you to think that out of the 1000's of Spektrums sold worldwide, the 20 or 30 posts you read on here telling of a problem with their radio system makes you think there is a quality control problem.

And never mind the fact that some didn't mention in their post that ie: the Tx was dropped a few times, water somehow got into it, the batteries were at a lower voltage or worse yet, re-chargeables or they decided to shorten the antenna by snipping it. Believe me, I've seen all of the above.
