I think I have one of the secret "glitchfree" DX3R Pro radios. I haven't had one single issue with mine. No range issues, brown outs, steering glitches or any other radio issues. I do run Spektrum servos in all my cars, Tekin ESC's and motors, no caps or any other bandaids.
There seems to be a lot of haters, but I haven't had an issue.
Your not the only one. I also have a secret "glitchfree" DX3R Pro radio. When you buy one at the hobby shop you have to tell the person behind the counter that your not a hater and they will go in back and get one of the secret Radios
I really like mine
