I've got a GT-2B for my 4 year old's ECX. He's a bit small for his age, and his hands are certainly not above average in size, but he holds and operates it just fine. The nice small lithium battery makes the controller real light too, which I think is a huge plus for a young kid.
He also does just fine with my TQi controller when he runs my Stampede.
