I would call that a brown-out. I have dealt with it and I ultimately found it was an issue between my Novak ESC's BEC and the Savox servo. The BEC was 3A max and the servo could pull 5A when stalled or shocked. Eventually that would shut down my ESC/receiver for a second, just like you described. On the surface it looks like a radio problem.
I had posted about it last summer and all the "spektrum haters" ("savox haters", too) came out of the woodwork telling me do ditch my stuff and get another brand. If I had, I would have spent a bunch of money and not had a solution. Switching my ESC to one with a 5A BEC solved the problem.
