Stumbled upon this forum
Man. When I get bored, I get curious. When I get curious things "accidentally" appear in my shopping cart -- not sure how this happens : )
I have had a DEX410 V3 for over a year now. The relationship at first was bumpy, but we have smoothed things out since. She has been really good -- avoiding DNFs in this class at our local track meant you did pretty well. I feel the DEX is pretty durable compared to other offerings, I do feel that I had to drive it extra smooth to avoid that lonely walk back to the pit table, car in pieces.
So… that being said I am excited about this ride. What sold me is the concern of this class being fragile and HB coming up with a possible solution, at least they say they have. I am excited about the monocoque arms and triangulated shock towers -- two of the most frequent breaks I have witnessed first hand.
Just watching the videos of Ty driving, granted he's a phenomenal driver the buggy looks really good. Carves nice lines and appears strong like bull.
I'll have this soon… then I'll decide if it will replace my sweet DEX410.
