I would say that if it says not too recharge them, don't. If you did have a have a rechargable Lithium Ion battery you will need a compatible charger (I think the Duratrax Ice does). NEVER charge any Lithium (Ion or Polymer) battery on a charger that doesn't specifically say it will charge those types of batteries, just looking for trouble......As for the Nimh batteries, I use them all the time and they work very well and are worth the few bucks you pay for them.
