I tried my best to bomb-proof my NB48 fuel tank over the weekend. I replaced the stock clunk line with some thicker line, and added in a "fuel tube grommet" over the fittings as others were suggesting. I also drilled out the mounting holes slightly and used the XRAY fuel tank grommets (

I know I am a little late but I agree "looks perfect". I did the same thing but used the JQ Products Grommet.
