So i've measured everything involved:
- Clearance between chassis line and flywheel: 3.2mm
- Highest point of rubber wheel (from top plate' line): 5.5mm
- Thickness of the bracket: 5mm
Basic math tells that there is more than 2.5mm gap between wheels.
