Exclamation need help re: rubber tyre removal

hello I own a ntc3 rtr + and decided not to use the wheels/tyres that came with, and recently got desperate so I put them on thinking I'll just remove the rubber and put new rubber on, all went well and the tyres were great and I eventually wore them out so I began to boil the rims/tyres to remove them so I could fit new tyres to these rims and it went horribly horribly wrong the rims warped and distorted something feirce and even after that the tyre adhesive still hadn't let go, now the rims are ready for the bin and I was left scratching my head thinking what the f$%k did I do wrong?

P.S. the rims in question you can get a look at here : http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...5&I=LXJDS3&P=K

what is the caper with these rims?
can somebody tell me which darn rims to buy (brand) that wont do that crap please?

thanks for reading, big thanks for responding
