The smallest you could go for is 70, anyting smaler and your motor might touch the shaft. Biggest I think is 77T 48 pitch. I posted a gear chart in 48pitch a few pages back.
I'm using a 66 spur and 34 pinion in my CGM for 540 stock if that gives you some idea of what might fit.
