hi guys....i am in a bit of a problem

when i was using the novarossi engine i did add a thin shim between the engine and cone for the flywheel...everything was fine.

but for this tr when i do the same setup the amount of play for the thrust bearing is very, very minimal.

so my questions is whether adding the shim between the cone and the engine is a must? just to be sure, thanks
