He is talking about the threaded rod that goes from the servo saver to the steering bellcrank. I personally have not had a problem with that hitting but I set it up exactly like the manual said. You need to make sure that at neutral steering, the servo horn is over about 30 degrees to the right when looking at the spline and then you use the topmost hole in the servo saver. If you do this, it will not touch. Otherwise, I can see where the servo throw would be off and that threaded rod would touch the driveshaft.

FWIW, I ran on insane traction carpet this weekend and ended up running -2.5 in the front and -2 in the rear with foam tires. I finally got the tires wearing evenly!!!
