I hate to see a class struggle at any track for any reason. But I find it hard to believe that the tire rule is enough to sink it. Enthusiasm ebbs and flows at the best tracks with great promoters. If the tires really are killing the class then I think I would stick with the older rules for the local racing. Everyone knows that at big events they are going to need the Ride tires. My first set is glued onto 26mm rims and I would like to feel the difference between them and a set on 24mm rims. But for my first set, I had to have them on nice rims.
