It's a battery eliminating circuitry that allows you to power servos, transponders and receivers off of a single battery and eliminate the need of a receiver pack. The savox servos are known for needing a higher voltage. Actually at the higher voltage it should drain less of your battery. Your battery drain is the current and when you keep resistance the same and increase voltage, current has to go down.
