Fritzl65,
As a chassis, for wife and kids, the SCTE 1.0 is a good choice these days.. tough as nails, easy to find parts for, and above all just a cheap buy in. You can also do well with the stand by of a slash or stampede.
Run what you have for now except where you have the motor pulling too hard on the ESC (no need to fry the gear). But keep an eye out for deals out there, not sure what the parts support is on your HPI trucks now, but I imagine it can be slim pickens.
lbenton,
thanks for your advice....
I have 4 hpi rs4 chassis, and some parts...was trying to sell them here to get other parts...
we are pretty much broke, and bartered for the parts above.
The Hobbywing 4000kv are new...
The Losi motor was paired with a rebadged MMP... I could use that for one of the vehicles...I believe that this is a stock Losi set up for an scte
the other vehicles are the XXX-T sct conversion and XX-T the XX-T has had some serious modification time so as to allow my son to use his BMW X-5 body....
Cant find it online anywhere came off of a NewBrite toy...
I have so many parts its hard to get out of these vehicles... got a deal on 5 of them....
I may be asking too much... but if someone could suggest the correct gear for these... I think yhou all call it bashing... we run at the local track and sometimes in the forest preserve where someone made an outdoor track.
Would anyone have the correct gear I need to flesh these out correctly? Barter what I have and if necessary some cash or one of the spare hpi?
THanks
Please keep your advice coming....
Fritz
