They only do limited runs of the 418, usually the second run is around April/May. I think the 418 is the easiest TRF to drive for a long time, although that can make me a little conservative when racing, my 417's always kept me on my toes and in a way that made me more 'on it' when driving.

I've only run my 418 twice, on carpet, but I walk away with the impression this car is easier to drive and also reacts to setup changes a little better. By no means is it slow though. Maybe Tamiya had the club racer in mind when they developed this kit?
