I'm running with stock electronics, and gears. I had to replace both front and rear diffs. But that was my fault. I went out and bashed with truck. I own the rival as well. In the rival I had to spend another $600 on top of the price I paid for it. The sc10 4x4 maybe 500. But I beat the crap out of it. I love this truck. Don't be Afread to work on it. It may take some time the first time you work on it but that the fun of learning the machine. It's relly not that bad to work on. Sit down have a few beers and enjoy it. I love the vts slipper and front clicker. It has the ability to drive the way I drive. I can tune it to me not me to it. Anything takes time to master. If it was easy we all would be pros in a week.
