Futaba 3PL is what I started with. It worked well.
But I would look for a good used 4pl or MT4

Battery. I like my reedy batteries but I am sure this will be fine also.

You will want a lipo charger with balancer. Duratrax onyx 235 is what I started with and it served me well for over a year without any problems.

Any small ESC will work. I am using a novak edge. Hobbywing Justock is popular also.


Driving a f1 RC car can be very frustrating on untreated asphalt. I strongly suggest that you go to your local racing club and practice on the track that's been properly prepped.
