Do not stay at any of the hotels in Winthrop Harbor. They are all dives and we have heard of poor experiences. Eric does have a deal with the Gurnee Grand Hotel on Grand Ave. Myself and the Weir's are stating at the Country Inn and Suites on Grand Ave right next door. There is also a country Inn and Suites just to the south in Zion, but they are more expensive than the Grand Ave location.
