I also have in the Fioroni pistons currently as I wanted to try them out. I will let you know how it goes if we run this weekend.
You probably won't like the Fiorini pistons. At least, you won't see the big benefits from the dual action. The Fiorini's are, IIRC, 15.8mm in diameter or so. The Serpent shock bodies are more like 16.1mm bore. I think they are just a bit too big in diameter for the Fiorini piston O-rings to grab and 'drag' again the shock body and provide the intended resistance on compression.
