It was too loose? Baseline setting to work from is 1/16 turn out from bottomed out in the front and 1/8 in the rear.
Not pry bar bottomed out tight... but tightened all the way down within reason and 1/16 out F and 1/8 out R.
These diffs like to be pretty tight to run right and not bark.
