This is not correct.
The kingpin angle is the angle the upper and lower pivotball make when viewing the upright from the front.
Caster is the angle the upper and lower pivotball make when viewed from the side.
The kingpin angle influences the scrubradius.
What it does in terms of handling:
More kingpin inclination will improve corner speed and on-throttle steering. It decreases off-throttle steering and makes the car less nervous.
Less kingpin inclination gives the car more off-throttle steering.
Changing the kingpin inclination, offset and camber can really make or break the front end of a car, especially the initial reaction.
