He only needs all the tires because he doesnt know what will be the "hot ticket". A combo like chrome and graylow pretty much works good everywhere for 17.5, but it might not be the "hot ticket". If everyone runs chrome and graylow, then you dont have to worry about it. Just true your handout tires, adjust the setup and drive. You might pick different tires for different speeds, but the idea that you arent getting beat by tires you may or may not have makes things a lot easier for mortals who have to pay for tires. Magenta front and rear definitely is not the hot ticket for WGT, but it works good enough, so you just adjust the setup and drive
