I use an mx-v. It was my upgrade from a spectrum dx3c. The features it has do pretty much everything you will ever need. For the price, it can't be beat! It's super light so you won't get tired holding it, but the grip feels too small and cheap. What I did was wrap the grip with lizard skin bicycle handle bar tape. I made the bumps from the overlap of the tape fit my fingers and now it's the perfect size grip and it's ridiculously comfortable to hold in my hand.
I'll recommend this to everyone looking for a new radio. You get airtronics/sanwa reliability with an amazing price point. It also uses the least expensive receivers they have.
That being said, I would still have an mt-4 if it was the right price. Or if I found a good deal on a used one. Just because I know it has better steering and trigger pots and because if I ever decide I need more features than I use now, I'll already have them.
