I borrowed the xxx-s for the snowbirds. The weekend before the race I put 5 batteries thru the car (the first time ever driving a VTA car) to try and figure out the unique aspects of the VTA class. Had I had a more prep time with the car I could have done better. Thru the week I was still coming to terms with the tires...The car was faster than my ability to drive it....look at the lap times. I'm pretty sure the old Losiasourus laid down the hot lap....

Had somebody accustomed to driving VTA cars been piloting the car they very well could have won the whole thing.....with a $25 car! There is not a need for a rule concerning the "born on date" for a VTA chassis. Set up a car properly and the current rules do an excellent job leveling the field.
