The wheels have too much flex and are too soft in my opinion. I've seen guys strip out the 17mm hex as well. The tires work great though. I like the x-con's, posse and lineup's in c3 compound. It's comparable to M3 or JConcepts Green.

The older black foams are too narrow and won't properly fill the tire/wheel. I think the newer treads come with a yellow foam that works well. I always use aka or JC foams with my DTX tires. Give them a try!
