The first battery I bought for mine was a $120 Fantom 5500 65c saddle. The quality of the pack was top notch and the performance was awesome. I like to run 2 packs per car, swapping between heats. Decided why not try a Turnigy? I bought their Nano Tech 5100 65c saddle for 36(?) bucks. Case definitely not as stout as the Fantom, but not terrible either. Stock bullets were garbage "birdcage" type so I swapped them with a set of solid Duratrax bullets for $2. On the track I could not tell the difference between the two of them and the Nano Tech made a 10 minute main easily with several warm up laps running a Tekin RX8/4600 Pro4 combo. I own a handful of these Nanos in both stick and saddle in several mah. I also own or have owned many brands and I never had bad luck with any of them, but will say that the Nano Techs are fantastic and priced very well.
