The MMM2 is waterproof and a really good combo. The main thing you will have to worry about is your other electronics. Servo and receiver. You can pretty much waterproof your receiver in the box but I would still wrap it in a balloon or something. Servos you have to be careful with though. You can sort of seal them with some silicon around the wires and horn. People have been doing this with nitro cars for awhile. But cleaning your car with water really is a bad idea. Your bearings with not last long at all unless you constantly pull them out to clean and lube them. Compressed air is really the best way or if you don't have that using an old tooth brush. Takes longer but you don't have to worry about the other problems. If using compressed air be careful around bearings also. You don't want to blow dirt in them. I usually just use a brush around them.
