I think the only thing you have to change is the damper position, so use 3 in front an 4 in the rear. That should be very similar to my normal EvoV damper position.
Use your steering as in the manual.
I changed the front suspension arms back to the Evo V ones, the rear ones fit perfect.
About the lenght of my topdeck. I placed the car on a flat ground.
When I mount the topdeck in the back:
The center mount is ok:
But the front mount is to long, not much, I think 0,5mm (I hope you can see it):
