For the up an down movement in the spindles u might to able to take a file(flat /bastard) and file a little on the bushing. That will let u tight up on the screws and take out the extra play.
The play in the front arms I used the kyosho arm washer that come with the front or rear arms. And I shim the rear side of my front arms, I didn't have to but I did.
But the axle play needs the shim cause when u turn lock to lock the axle will just slightly rub the drive shafts when they float in but it doesn't rub when it floats out ward.
