I actually had it running yesterday but it seemed pretty unsafe to just have the end of the motor freely to fall off. I took it to a local parts store and they said about $10-$15 for whatever part it was but didn't mention the name. I figured if anyone knew what it was I could find it online for a cheaper cost.

Thanks for you reply though. Yeah it does look old which is kind of cool.

edit: No the screws just are not in the crankcase :P the picture looks like they're still there though.
