oh you most definitely can compare the two! The math used to figure out either car's FDR is the same...neither the 2wd or 4wd FDR uses resistance as a consideration...so yes you can compare the two. There are sooooo many variables for "resistance" how can you even begin to quantify such an animal??
As far as pinions...a 23/24 with 75 spur will be VERY slow with a 13.5. That's what I run on my 8.5 lolol. maybe with a TON of boost a 24/75 combo might work...but for sure not in blinky.
This is what AE recomends for the B4.2 (gearing will be VERY close for the b44, even with "resistance" taken into account, tire size is same, spur is same, pinion is same, diff's are same, etc.)
17.5 blinky = 32/75
17.5 w/boost = 23/78
13.5 blinky = 30/75
13.5 w/boost = 22/81
8.5 = 22/81
So yea.....
