I believe the 7.5 is much more stout than a 9.5. You can get excellent speed out of 9.5 and it is easier to control if you have a heavy throttle finger. If you are smooth on the throttle I would opt for the 7.5.

I will try that out and see what happens... Anyway I think the motor is fried... It has something loose inside too :/
