It's funny how the opinions differ. I have the RCM mount in my muggy and the D8 in my Savage. I prefer the RCM Muggy mount. The D8 is a pain.

I have been bashing and beating my Muggy for 4 years now. I have only broken 2 shock shafts. (knock on wood) I have a container full of spare parts that have never been used. The design is just very rugged. I have never had a diff issue however I do have the aluminum cases. Not sure if that helps.

Last year I collided hard with a brand new E-MAXX brushless kit. I broke his truck in half. My Muggy limped back to be with only a busted shock shaft. I felt bad because the crash was my fault. I paid for the $100 in parts to repair the E-MAXX.
