Thanks very much for your post, I found another way using your same method where my radio didn't come with all the extra cables either:

1) Cut off the DSC 3.5mm connector, then splice into the coax and separate the braided strands and twist them into a single wire, then strip the lead off the yellow wire

2) Cut off the Male end of a sacrificial Mini-USB cord, then splice into the coax and separate the braided strands and twist them into a a single wire, then strip the lead off the white wire

3) Connect the White wire to the Yellow wire, then connect both ends of twisted braids

4) Connect custom cord to PC + Radio, then turn on the radio and then the drivers will automatically install

5) Launch VRC, go into game settings, calibrate, then reverse the throttle
