Most don't run the BEC on the sctpro either but it is added protection for sure as it is often needed if you savox servo's, they are sooo inefficient, they can take out most built in bec's in no time. That is another NEVER do,, NEVER buy Savox. :P
What brands do you guys suggest...ones that will hold up to some hard beating and that are real efficient?
I personally have been running Savox for about 3 years and haven't had no problems. I also run the novak glitch buster with them though. I do know they take a lot of power, but with the glitch buster there's no problems. Although the biggest I've ran is the SC1256TG which is 277oz. I would like 400+ servo for my truggy.
