The information is relevant in case (or when) a shortage pops up for a single source of tire. Not saying RIDE will burn us like HPI did... but it's always good to have options worth exploring.
Not all clubs follow 100% USGT rules and still allow open treaded tires.... plus there are several drivers at our local track who probably have a year's worth of HPI tires they want to burn through first before swapping over to the RIDE's.
Good point and good information for an alternative for those that use an "open treaded tire" rule

As well as 4495 and 4790's I think. Then "boosted" 17.5 showed up and RCGT went away in this area due to excessive tire wear outside.
