Not only smoother, but they don't break down like the rx8's even the new versions.. those puppy's still pop more than ANY 1/8 esc even after years of revisions. So in this case you get more for less :P
Tekin does make some of the best darn motors around at this point though. Good stuff indeed.
That's why i skimped out on the rx8 and just bought their motor. I think the xerun 150 would be the best 8th scale esc if it was smaller and came with a decent 2 wire switch.
