I have a 17.5 3.0 as well, and with the stock black timing board it cogged horribly right out of the box. Ordered a green board (20-30*degree) put it in and cogging is gone.... but now the motor runs hot with a mild 8.1 fdr (75/24), and zero drive line bind. 177-180* at the end of a 4 min qualifier. The timing is all the way to the left @ 20* and i cant keep dropping teeth on the pinion because i am starting to fall behind on the straights. I could just order the 10*-20* board and try that... but with the cost of all the boards plus the original $120 for the system, I didnt really save anything. Threw the Tekin back in and ran 75/28 with 30* and was back down in the 155 degree range and back to the top on the charts.
