40 minutes in and his starter doesn't work anymore and were at a quarry 1/2 mile from the car and he has to go get parts.
1 hour in and he says "dude I am so sick of this nitro...yours is so much more powerful"

So I guess you're right. Nitro is cleaner, when tuned right definitely faster, way easier to maintain and definitely less punchier so that it doesn't break the drivetrain based on my experience...sorry dude I must of forgot.

Looks like I need to go get some nitro motors to keep up, or maybe a brushed motor and some nimhs?

If I come off as "rude" it's because I'm dealing with ignorant nonsense like this. His friend has no clue - either ...- so nitro must suck..

Sorry, but the electric side of the hobby has a level of imbecility at play which is hard to take - most basically basing their hatred of nitro on the fact that they were too dumb to figure it out and still have no clue about it whatsoever. How often do you see these same guys getting upset when their truck breaks from running into a curb, an ESC fries, or whatever? A lot.. The Traxxasification of RC has seriously lowered the bar...

Who was it that brought up flashlights in this thread about nitro MT's anyway?...
