If you have half a clue and a decent engine, nitro is not high maintenance at all.

At all.

If it were I wouldn't mess with it.

Furthermore, brushless is WAY more maintenance than people make out, because the instant power of it is much harder on drivetrains. It is also much more gearing-critical etc.., which is why you so often see people frying ESC's, lipos, and motors.

Sorry - but if you have no clue about nitro, don't make recommendations regarding it.
