Only really difficult part to work on in the savage is the brakes, everything else can be accessed fairly simply. It does tend to catch a hell of a lot of dirt in areas that are damn hard to clean, but any nitro is gonna get filthy.

Any reason you're dead set on nitro? For around the same price of the mentioned trucks you could pick up a Thunder Tiger M4 G3, which handle better than anything mentioned on this thread so far and equally as durable. I love my savages now, but they were an absolute nightmare when I was a noob.
