I have a friend who`s also running a GS15 and its regularly above the 300 deg f mark.........even when running super-rich and no body on the car its on the 300 deg mark......must just be inherent to this engine.
Having said that though, his engine is super- reliable......I`ve never seen it flame-out and starts very consistently.
